Plot Synopsis
Life of Pi chronicles the journey of Pi after he loses his family and all his possessions in a tragic shipwreck. The only thing left of the yacht he was traveling on (with a zoo full of animals) is one life boat that is under the control of a potentially vicious tiger. Pi has to learn to control the tiger and get them both to a safe shore before Pi starves or is eaten by the beast.
