Liev Schreiber is an American actor who has appeared in various action and horror films, such as The Sum of All Fears and the Scream series. Life and Career
Liev Schreiber grew up on the lower east side of New York where he lived in poverty with his cab-driving mother. During this time, he watched silent black-and-white films and developed a taste for Charlie Chaplin. After graduating from the Yale University School of Drama in 1992, he went on to star in several independent films, such as Big Night (1996), The Daytrippers (1996) and Party Girl (1995).
Schreiber gained national attention with his first major breakout role in a mainstream film in 1996, playing the part of Cotton Weary in the popular horror film Scream. Schreiber then went to on to reprise the role in subsequent Scream films: Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 3 (2000).
