• Liam Gallagher is the singer and songwriter of the English rock band Oasis known for his outrageous off-stage behavior, distinctive singing style and volatile relationship with bandmate and brother Noel.

  In March, 2009, it was announced Liam would be launching his own fashion label called Pretty Green. The label describes itself as a "up-front, straight talking, classic clothing range". • Oasis

  Liam formed Oasis, originally called Rain, in 1991 with Paul Arthurs on guitar, Paul McGuigan on bass and Tony McCarroll drums. Liam later asked his older brother Noel to join the band. Noel agreed, on the condition that he would be the sole songwriter and leader of the band. Alan McGee signed the band to his Creation label in 1993.
