Consumers appreciate the sleek styling of a combined cell phone and MP3 player. The 1.3-megapixel digital camera reportedly takes slightly above average photos and videos. Users also report an improvement in the music control touch panel, over previous similar models.

Although the design of the outside of the Chocolate is applauded, many are frustrated by the slide-out numeric keypad as the buttons are flat and can be slippery. Others are unhappy with the incompatibility with iTunes, especially as it was designed as a music phone. Also many are turned off by the lack of a speaker phone option on this model.
