Levi Johnston is the first name of the boy who is reportedly the father of Bristol Palin's unborn child. Rumors had been circling the Internet that Sarah Palin, Republican presidential candidate John McCain's choice for vice-president, was not the mother of Trig Palin, but that Bristol in fact had borne the child.
The McCain campaign released the news that Bristol Palin was five months pregnant on September 1, 2008 to quash those rumors. According to the statement, Bristol Palin intends to marry her boyfriend Levi.USA Today: Palin: Daughter, 17, is pregnant (September 1, 2008)
