Leszek Kolakowski was a photographer perhaps best known for his political piece Main Currents of Marxism, which offered analysis of Marxism.
Ko?akowski died on July 17, 2009, at the age of 81 in England.

Life and Career
Kolakowski began his career as a Marxist, causing his expulsion from the Polish United Workers' Party. He later changed his views and was a supporter of a more democratic version of socialism, which led to him to move into exlie at the University of California Berkeley. Kolakowski published his Main Currents of Marxism in 1978, calling Marxism "the greatest fantasy of our century." -
