Less Than Jake is a punk/ska band from Gainesville, Florida. Drummer Vinnie Fiorello started the Fueled By Raman record label with friend John Janick.
Started in 1992 as a power pop trio, the band's sound and line-up has evolved over time. In their various incarnations, the band has released eight original full-length albums, including their June 24, 2008 release GNV FLA, and a number of EPs and singles. In 2007, the band played six Florida shows in which they played one of their albums in its entirety from start to finish.
The band's side projects include the independent record label Fueled by Ramen, started by Vinnie Fiorello and John Janick, and Fiorello's toy companies Wunderland War and Symptoms.
