American film actress Leslie Mann has appeared in several films, many of which were produced and directed by her husband Judd Apatow.
Career Highlights
Mann began her acting career starring in television commercials and with small parts in films. Her first major role came in 1996 opposite Jim Carey in the comedy film The Cable Guy. Mann met Judd Apatow in the audition for The Cable Guy and the couple married in 1997. Mann went on to appear in the live action remake of George of the Jungle, as a prostitute in Last Man Standing and the 1999 Adam Sandler comedy Big Daddy. Mann returned to work under her producer and director husband in the highly successful films The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. She is slated to appear in an untitled 2009 film produced by Apatow, Sandler and Seth Rogan.
