Broadcast journalist Lesley Stahl is a reporter for CBS' 60 Minutes. She is the author of Reporting Live and former moderator of televised panel show Face the Nation.

Early Career
Stahl began her career covering the Watergate affair in the 70s. She went on to become a White House correspondent during the Carter, Reagan and first Bush administrations. Stahl was the moderator of Face the Nation from 1983 to 1991.60 Minutes Interviews
During an interview with Stahl in 2002, Al Gore announced that he would not be running for President again in 2004. And, in an October 2007 interview with Stahl, French President Nicolas Sarkozy stood up and walked away when Stahl questioned him about his relationship with his soon-to-be estranged wife.
