McCoy was selected 53rd overall in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles on April 25, 2009.

Football Career

McCoy continued with the Panthers in his sophomore season in 2008, leading the NCAA tied for the most points per game at 10.5. He proceeded to break school records, passing Tony Dorsett's record for the most rushing touchdowns as a freshman and sophomore, totaling 35.
