The members of indie punk band Les Savy Fav met while studying art at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1995 and started a band based on their mutual admiration of Fugazi and Sunny Day Real Estate. Their most recent album is 2007's Let's Stay Friends.

Career Overview
After playing shows up and down the East Coast, Les Savy Fav were signed to Sub Pop Records in 1997 and released their debut album, 3/5, that same year. Two more albums followed, The Cat and the Cobra and Go Forth before the band announced an extended hiatus in 2005.Les Savy Fav returned in 2006 to begin recording their fourth album, Let's Stay Friends, and two years after their departure, the full lineup reunited at an All Tomorrow's Parties concert in England in May of 2007.
