Leroy Gibbs is a fictional character in the CBS television series NCIS played by accomplished veteran actor Mark Harmon. Gibbs is the lead investigator on the team. He is a skilled investigator with an amazing intuition. While he is close to all of the team members, he is especially affectionate with Abby Sciuto the forensic specialist on the team. It is often said that she is his favorite.
