Tastings and Tours
You can get to Leonesse Cellars by taking highway 79 east from Temecula. It is about 4 miles east of Interstate 15. When you get there you will have to decide among various tour and wine tasting/food pairing options that are available. Wine tasting for individuals is $16, however you can take a 3 1/2 hour wine connoisseur tour for $155 that includes tastings of cellar wines, single-vineyard wines, and signature wines, artisan cheeses and a vineyard tour. There are also private signature tastings for $55 and a $35 pairing sampler for wines, cheeses and chocolate. There is a self-guided tour through the vineyard that ends in the barrel room. For large groups, it is best to call ahead for arrangements. While you are in the Temecula area, you could also have a hot-air balloon adventure or, if you wish to keep your feet on the ground, there are many other wineries to visit and the Temecula Olive Oil Company. -
