Leonard Weaver is a professional football fullback/running back who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.

College Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Weaver played NCAA football at Carson-Newman College in Tennessee. Playing first as a linebacker, he recorded nine tackles. Weaver moved to a tight end position during his second season, tallying 43 catches for 981 yards and 14 touchdowns, earning Division II All-American honors. After college, Weaver went undrafted in the 2005 NFL draft.
NFL Career
Weaver entered the NFL by signing as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks in 2005. He made his professional debut that same season, recording 17 carries for 80 yards, plus one reception for 12 yards. After sitting on the injured reserve list for all of 2006, Weaver came back in 2007 to total 33 rushes for 146 yards and a touchdown, as well as 39 catches for 313 yards.
