  • Oscar-winning movie composer Leonard Rosenman wrote music for over 100 films during his career. Rosenman specialized in science-fiction and fantasy genres, and wrote the scores for the animated Lord of the Rings as well as Star Trek IV: The voyage home. Rosenman died in March 4, 2008 at the age of 83.
