  • Before Mr. Spock

    Leonard Nimoy was born in Boston, Massachusetts, son of Dora and Max Nimoy who were Jewish immigrants from Russia. Nimoy began acting at an early age (8) and went on to star in several B-movies and television shows. Before landing the role of Spock, Nimoy stared in more than 50 movies or television shows. One of which was a minor role in The Twilight Zone episode titled "A Quality of Mercy".

    Nimoy starred in the original Star Trek series from 1966 to 1969 and several movie sequels there after. At Comic Con in 2007 it was revealed that Nimoy would return once more for the latest Star Trek movie.
