Leisha Hailey

  • Leisha Hailey is an actress, musician and producer who gained mainstream notoriety for her role as Alice Pieszecki, a bisexual journalist, on the hit Showtime series The L Word.

  • Early Career

    Hailey studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City in 1991 and got her first major role in 1997 in the feature film All Over Me. While acting, Hailey also formed a group called The Murmers that received a cult following.
