College Football Career
Prior to playing professionally, Bodden played college football for the Duquesne Dukes in the NCAA. He broke several school records, including all records for interceptions, recording 28 during his career. Bodden helped the Dukes win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League championships during each of his four seasons and earned All-American honors twice. NHL Career
Bodden entered the NFL by signing as a free agent with the Cleveland Browns in 2003. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in 13 games and recording 17 tackles, two pass deflections and one interception.
