Lego Star Wars The Video Game

Lego Star Wars The Video Game is one of many released Lego video games, that is modifying famous movies into a Lego world. In this game it is about the well known Star Wars series. The game will take place in the Episodes 1-3. The game was produced by Eidos Games and LucasArts and developed by Traveller's Tales, Griptonite Games, Aspyr Media and Giant Interactive Entertainment. The game is available for Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and for the Mac OS X. The Game was released March 29, 2005. The game is a action/adventure game.

The game is fully completed in Lego, the characters also made of Lego. A variety of characters are featured in the game, including Anakin, R2D2, Obi-Wan Kenobi and others from the first three movies.

The controls are simple to use, on the computer you use either the arrows or the W, S, A and D buttons, just like with first-person shooters. To perform an action use the U, H, J and K buttons on your keyboard (all the controls on the pc can be modified). The game doesn’t contain any special moves as there is one button to shoot or slash, but you can combine the jump and shoot/slash.

The game modifies the serious action-adventure movie Star Wars into a remake for the kids; humor and funny clips are featured. This game was followed by Lego Star Wars 2 The Original Trilogy on September 11, 2006.
