A free-play mode will be available in Lego Batman for each level the player completes. This means players will be able to go back to the levels they've already completed and play through them again with any character they have unlocked. This can be helpful if there were any items or areas that were missed on the first go through. You don't need to unlock all of the characters to get to all of the areas in levels though, since some characters have identical special abilities.IGN: LEGO Batman Updated Impressions (September 9, 2008)
