LEGO Batman Characters

There are a total of twenty-two LEGO Batman Characters available from LEGO, although only eight are available in playsets, including support characters such as Penguin Helpers and Henchmen. The remaining characters are used in the LEGO Batman video game. These characters are designed to represent the characters from the original Batman comic books and storyline in LEGO form. The physical characters have the characteristic posability and shape of other LEGO people, but come in playsets designed to recreate the Batman experience, including the vehicles, such as the Batcycle.http://batman.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx

Each of the four playsets comes with a Batman vehicle and a villian's vehicle along with the appropriate LEGO Batman characters. There are wallpapers, posters and screensavers depicting the Batman characters in action at the LEGO Batman website.http://batman.lego.com/en-us/downloads/default.aspx

In addition to the physical LEGO playsets, there is a LEGO Batman video game. There are countless playable characters in the multi-platform game Lego Batman. In story mode, players are limited to playing the characters that promote the story. However, in freeplay mode, players can replay levels with any unlocked characters. There is also a Create-a-Character feature that allows players to build their own unique LEGO character.
