• Synopsis

  To coincide with Superboy's storylines in Adventure Comics, DC created the team Legion of Super-Heroes. The group, comprised of time traveling teens from the 30th Century, assisted Superboy in numerous Adventure Comics issues.

  The Legion eventually got its own series in 1980. Though the team roster has changed in subsequent volumes, Legion remains a top-selling DC title.The Comics Chronicles: Estimates for Comics Sold by Diamond in April 2008 In 2005, it began publication in its fifth volume.
