Players will be able to carry two weapons in Left 4 Dead. Players will have to choose whether they want to carry a shotgun, rifle or machine gun, and everyone will get a pistol sidearm. Left 4 Dead Weapons
- Pistols - Single or double, every player gets this weapon
- Pump-action Shotgun - Holds eight shells, and needs to be pumped after each shot
- Auto Shotgun - No pumping, and hold 10 shells
- Uzi - Automatic machine gun, rapid rate of fire
- M16 - Very powerful, bullets go through multiple zombies, 50 round magazine
- Hunting Rifle - Has a sniper scope and is semi-automatic
- Pipe Bomb - An explosive with area damage, can only hold one explosive at a time

- Propane Tank - Players can throw propane tanks in the air, and then shoot them to make them explode
Left 4 Dead Ammo
There is limited ammo for most of the gun in Left 4 Dead. The ammo that is found can be shared with group to help fight off the zombie mobs. Pistols will have unlimited ammo, this way players will still have a chance if they run out with their main weapon. A good strategy for players to use is to try and preserve the ammo in their main weapons by using the pistols whenever possible.
