How To Cheat
The majority of the cheats for Left 4 Dead are only accessible on the PC version of the game. To enable cheats, enter the main menu, select Options, select Keyboard/Mouse and enable the option Allow Developers Console. To enter a specific cheat code, hit the tilde (~) button on your keyboard, which will bring up the Developers Console. Type "Sv_Cheats 1" to enter cheat mode. Demo Cheats and Info
Even before the game's official release on November 17, 2008, some players found a way to hack the demo. Wily gamers increased the throwing power of their characters, spawned propane tanks as weapons and gave themselves other unintended perks. Left 4 Dead Gameplay
Left 4 Dead is designed for co-op play, although there is a single-player story mode that uses AI to control additional team members. In co-op, teams of up to four players blast away waves of zombies as they make their way through the four campaign scenarios. Players need to lend each other support by providing cover fire, medical supplies and other assistance as they play through the game. In Versus Mode, a second team of four can play in the same game as the first group, taking on the role of the Infected.
