Left 4 Dead 2 is a co-op, first person shooter game, and sequel to the game Left 4 Dead. The game was produced by Valve, makers of other such games as Half-Life and Counter-Strike. Released on November 17, 2009, the game is available on Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox 360 platforms. The game is set in the midst of a post-apocalyptic zombie pandemic. In order to stay alive, survivors are forced to fight their way through groups of zombies in an attempt to reach safety. the player's experience is controlled by an artificial intelligence engine called the "Director" that monitors gameplay and adjusts scenes accordingly, so that gameplay remains challenging.http://www.l4d.com/game.html Four new survivors were introduced, with their backstory provided in a similar way to the original through dialogue in the game. The survivors include: Coach, a high-school football coach; Rochelle, a reporter for a local cable company; Ellis, a boy mechanic; and Nick, a gambler and conman. The Passing
Valve announced The Passing on December 14, 2009. This would be the first DLC installment for the Left 4 Dead 2 video game. In The Passing, survivors from Left 4 Dead 2 meet with survivors from the original Left 4 Dead. A new infected is introduced in The Passing; going by the name Fallen Survivor, this character has valuable items on person, occasionally dropping items that are of good use, but mostly running with the most prized items. The Passing is a 3 map campaign, taking place between Dead Center and Dark Carnival. This video features the trailer for Left 4 Dead 2, released at the E3 2009 conference. The game was released in November of 2009, and the Passing was expected to be released in March of 2010. The DLC was delayed, and finally released on April 22, 2010.
