Tweeden grew up in
Virginia and following graduation from high school in
1991, began to pursue a modeling career. While living in
Colorado Springs a year later, Tweeden won the
Venus International Model Search competition, which she later hosted five times. Tweeden then moved to
Los Angeles and appeared in catalogs and calendars for both
Fredericks of Hollywood and the
Hooters restaurant chain. By
1996, Tweeden was cast as a regular on the
ESPN2 series
Fitness Beach, and that
August appeared in
Playboy magazine. Tweenedn has appeared in Playboy a total of 7 times, and has continued to appear as a model in other mens publications. Her television appearances have been mostly as a correspondent for sports television series such as
Best Damn Sports Show Period,
High Octane,
Wild On, and
Bluetorch TV. Since
2004, Tweeden has actively shown her support for the Allied troops fighting the
Iraq War by appearing on various
USO Tours.
