British UFC mixed martial arts fighter Lee Murray was arrested in 2006 in connection with the Securitas Raid, a £53 million bank robbery that was among the largest in Britain's history. Murray has also been involved in numerous violent conflicts, including an alleged 2002 street brawl against fellow UFC fighter Tito OrtizThe Sun: Made in America - Extract Three (December 28, 2007) and a 2005 incident in which he was stabbed outside a London nightclub. Murray's story will be the subject of the upcoming film Breaking the Bank, based on a Sports Illustrated article about the Securitas heist. Murray is currently being held in Morocco, as the United Kingdom fights for the right to extradite and try him for the robbery.
