Playing Style

Led Zeppelin's music incorporated elements of rock, blues, folk and on later albums funk.

Guitarist Jimmy Page incorporated open tunings, particularly open G tuning, and often used a cello bow on his guitar to simulate the sound of a classical-stringed instrument.

Equipment

Page favored Marshall amps and Gibson guitars, especially his trademark Les Paul though he did use a Fender Telecaster during 1968 and 1969 and a Danelectro Guitar.
