  • After months of speculation Led Zeppelin reunited to play a benefit for late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. The concert took place on December 10, 2007. It was the first time the band played a full set together since the death of drummer, John Bonham, in 1980. John's son, Jason Bonham, filled in behind Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones.
  • Reunion Tour Rumors

    It had been reported the band would tour and record a new album without Robert Plant. Myles Kennedy, singer of the band Alter Bridge, was one of the singers who tried out to be Plant's replacement.NME: Led Zeppelin 'will tour and record album with new singer' (January 7, 2009)

    After months of speculation, Jimmy Page's manager Peter Mensch announced Led zeppelin would not be touring or recording together. Mensch told Rolling Stone, "Led Zeppelin are over!
