  • Led Zeppelin were an English Rock band who became one of the best-selling groups of all-time. Over their decade long career, the band released nine albums and sold over 100 million albums.
  • Career

    After leaving the The Yardbirds in 1968, Jimmy Page formed Led Zeppelin and recorded their debut album in 1969. After releasing three highly successful albums in only two years (culminating in the classic Led Zeppelin IV), the band became known as one of the biggest bands in the world. A number of highly successful tours and concerts helped cement their status as one of the best Live bands of the era as well.
  • The End

    In 1980, drummer John Bonham died of Asphyxiation. Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 shortly after Bonham's death. Page and Plant have since reunited and occasionally go on tour together.
  • Reunion

    Led Zeppelin reunited in 2007 to perform at a benefit for Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. Jason Bonham, son of John Bonham, performed with the band. Following their performance, it was rumored the band would embark on a full-scale reunion tour in 2009.
