Personal trainers can be expensive, but Mahalo's Learn Pilates app is only $9.99. With it, you'll get a private lesson with a STOTT pilates-certified instructor each day for a month (but you can always go back and review). Everyday you'll learn a new move to tone and tighten a different part of your body.
The app is divided up into three sections—beginner, intermediate and advanced—each with ten lessons and a separate workout series at the end to incorporate all the new moves. Each lesson also explains how to keep your breathing steady and even and how to modify the poses based on your fitness level.
The goal of the app is to help you lose weight and tone muscle without workout machines and mix up your workout routine with something new and fun. Along the way, you'll also learn about the muscles you're engaging and how to avoid common mistakes people make while performing each pose.
