Country music singer LeAnn Rimes won the television talent show Star Search when she was just eight years old. By the age of 11, she released her first album Everybody's Sweetheart. Besides singing, Rimes made a special appearance in the movie Coyote Ugly and guest starred on Moesha, Days of Our Lives and Mad TV.
At the age of 13, Rimes released her album Blue, selling 123,000 copies within its first week. It was so successful that it was certified six times platinum. When she released the song Blue, it reached number one on the country top ten and peaked number 10 on the Billboard charts. This album shot Rimes to teenage stardom in which people often compared her to Patsy Cline.
