Lean Cuisine Recall

Nestle Prepared Foods Company recalled approximately 879,565 pounds of Lean Cuisine chicken meals because they may have contained "foreign materials." The announcement was made by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on November 17, 2008. The company received complaints from consumers that there were small pieces of hard plastic in the frozen meals.
