Layla Grace

Layla Grace passed away on March 9, 2010 at the age of two years and three months. Layla Grace had suffered from a rare form of cancer called Neuroblastoma. This cancer most often affects children up to the age of two.

Layla Grace has developed a huge following on the social networking websites Twitter and Facebook. Layla Grace was from Cypress, Texas. When her family and bloggers found out that she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, they decided to take action. They decided to publicize Layla Grace's case and also to publish information about Neuroblastoma. This quote is taken from one of these blogs:

Internet retailer Layla Grayce has received a large number of visitors due to the similarity of the two names. Layla Grayce made a kind gesture towards fundraising for treatment towards Layla Grace. The girls and women clothing retailer agreed to donate $1 for each if the first 10,000 people to follow their Facebook page.http://www.facebook.com/laylagrayce Sadly this money was raised to late to save Layla Grace. Since Layla's death, goodwill messages have poured in to the Twitter and Facebook accounts of both our two year old and also the retailer.
