Law Abiding Citizen is a psychological thriller film about a assistant district attorney targeted by a vigilante who has been failed by the legal system. The film is the first of several planned projects by Butler and manager Alan Siegel, under their new production company: Evil Twins. Jamie Foxx joined the cast in October 9, 2008. Director Frank Darabont left shortly before Foxx signed on. Variety reported that F. Gary Gray was in talks to replace Darabont on October 16, 2008.Variety: Gray takes over Citizen (October 16, 2008)
