Professional football wide receiver Laveranues Coles plays for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.

Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Coles played college football with the Florida State Seminoles in the NCAA. Throughout his collegiate career, he recorded 127 receptions and 2,012 yards for nine touchdowns. After college, Coles was selected 78th overall in the 2000 NFL draft by the New York Jets.
Coles made his professional debut with the Jets in 2000, playing in 13 games and recording 385 total yards and his first professional touchdown. Earning a starting position in 2001, Coles had one of his statistically best seasons in 2002, tallying 1,264 receiving yards. In 2003, Coles signed with the Washington Redskins, playing two seasons woth the team before he was traded back to the New York Jets in 2005.
