Life Before Acting
Graham was raised by her father, Lawrence Graham. She traveled a lot as a child. She became interested in acting while attending elementary school. Upon graduation, she attended Barnard College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She continued her education at Southern Methodist University where she studied acting. Graham began her career in television commercials. Her early works included roles on the sitcoms Townies and Lush Life. From there, she appeared in the shows Third Rock from the Sun, Caroline in the City, and Gilmore Girls, where she played the role of Lorelai Gilmore from 2000-2007. Her more recent works include Sweet November, Bad Santa, Seeing Other People, Lucky 13, The Moguls, The Pacifier, Because I Said So, Evan Almighty, Flash Of Genius and Birds of America.-
