Lauren Caitlin Upton, the 2007 Miss Teen South Carolina, attempted to answer a question about why a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map at the August 24, 2007, Miss Teen USA Pageant. Her incoherent, unintentionally comic answer has become a much-forwarded viral video.
