American actress Laurel Holloman rose to fame playing Justine Cooper on the vampire drama Angel. After Angel she joined the cast of the Showtime television drama The L Word where she currently plays Tina Kennard.
The L Word centers around a tight knit group of lesbians in Los Angeles, California. Kennard was originally introduced as one of the only women in a stable relationship, but ultimately the relationship ended. She became pregnant, and now shares custody with her former partner (played by Jennifer Beals). Throughout the series Kennard has an on-again, off-again relationship with her ex-girlfriend. By the beginning of the fifth and final season the two have called it quits and Kennard begins dating men.
