Laura Wright is an American actress and soap star who has appeared in soap operas such as Loving, Guiding Light and General Hospital.

Laura Wright was born and raised in Clinton, Maryland. When she was in the eighth grade she began to develop an interest in acting. Wright currently portrays the role of Carly Corinthos in the ABC soap opera General Hospital. She has been with the cast since 2005. Prior to General Hospital, Wright played the role of Cassie Layne Winslow in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. She was an active cast member from 1997 until 2005.
