Denoux was sent home on the first episode, but was able to return after Costa worked hard at the ranch to not be eliminated, allowing Laura Denoux to return to the game. She was again eliminated during the 14th week, after sustaining an injury to her ankle and then being voted off by her fellow contestants.

• Background

  Laura Denoux lost her father at the young age of 15. This lead her eating to spiral out of control, despite having been a self-proclaimed "big-girl" before then. Denoux has tried many different diet plans trying to lose weight, but has been unsuccessful in the past. She once worked as a plus-sized model at a Miami modeling agency, but was shocked when she gained weight and as a size 14 was considered too large for most modeling work.
