Last.fm is a social music website allowing users to find friends based on common musical tastes. A downloaded plug-in makes recommendations and social connections based on a user's favorite iTunes or Winamp selections. Last.fm has denied allegations made by the blog TechCrunch that they turned over user data to the RIAA.
