The winner of Last Comic Standing 2008 was Iliza Shlesinger. Last Comic Standing is a reality show on NBC. It draws from a pool of aspiring and veteran comics. Members of the group compete against each other in hopes of winning the guarantee of their own cable comedy special and the promise of a development deal with NBC. Shlesinger is the first woman to win the show.
