The Last Chance Harvey trailer opens with Harvey rushing to the airport to catch a flight to London to attend his daughter's wedding. Upon arriving, his daughter tells him that she wants her stepfather to walk her down the aisle and his boss fires him abruptly. Devastated, Harvey heads to the airport to fly home and stumbles into the airport bar for a drink beforehand. He exchanges quips with a woman sitting alone with a book and a glass of wine and they decide to get lunch. They spend the day together, which ends with them attending Harvey's daughter's wedding. Having had such a great time, they make plans to see each other again and their relationship begins.
Plot Summary

Harvey Shine, played by Dustin Hoffman, sees his life spinning out of control when he loses his job and his daughter wants her stepfather walk her down the aisle. On the way home from the wedding, he meets Kate, a 40-something Office of National Statistics employee, in the airport bar and the two hit it off. Slowly they both begin to change each other's lives for the better.
