Larry Tripplett played high school football at the Los Angeles-area Westchester High School. At Westchester Tripplett achieved all city honors in his senior year and was recruited to play for the University of Washington. Although redshirted his first year, he was able to make an impact in his last three years in college, getting drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. In his six years in the league, Tripplett has amassed 195 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 1 interception.
