  • Football Career

    Prior to playing in the NFL, Foote played college football with the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA. Starting in 28 games, Foote recorded 212 tackles, 11 sacks and three interceptions. His 44 stops for a loss ranked fourth on the Wolverines all-time list and helped him earn All-American and All-Big Ten honors, as well as the Roger Zatkoff Award for the Wolverines' best linebacker.Official Website of the Pittsburgh Steelers: Larry Foote

    After college, Foot was selected 128th overall in the 2002 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in 14 games and recording 20 tackles. After helping the Steelers win Super Bowl XL, Foote recorded his statistically best season in 2005 with 102 tackles.
