Larry Doby is a Hall of Fame Center Fielder who played for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, and Detroit Tigers. Although fellow Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson was the first African American to play in the Major Leagues, Larry Doby was the first African American to play in the American League. He was also the first African American to lead the American League in Home Runs, and to win a World Series.
