    Larry Andersen was drafted out of high school by the Cleveland Indians in 1971. He played for the Indians from 1975 to 1979. He was out of the major leagues in 1980 and returned in 1981 to play the next two seasons with the Seattle Mariners. Larry Andersen played for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1983 to 1986. From 1986 to 1990, he played for the Houston Astros. He played the last part of 1990 with the Boston Red Sox. In 1991 and 1992, he played for the San Diego Padres.
