Lannemezan is a town in the South of France located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department of the Midi-Pyrénées region.

The stage, which comes after the first day of rest in the bicycle race, runs from Lannemezan to Foix over a distance of roughly 105 miles (167.5 kilometers).
