  • On February 3, 2009, what was to have been the seventh annual Langerado music festival was cancelled due to slow sales. It is unknown whether the festival will continue.

    With an initial lineup that spanned only 15 bands and less than 4,000 audience members, the Langerado Music Festival was one of Southern Florida's premiere music festivals. It was a massive, multi-day outing featuring a diverse lineup of some of music's biggest artists. The festival also boasts a wide assortment of edible delicacies and arts and crafts merchants.

    The Langerado Music Festival was held in Markham Park from 2003-2007. In 2008, to accommodate for the increased crowd, the festival was moved to the Seminole Big Cypress Indian Reservation.
